Close your eyes and imagine….
Getting up early to prepare to go to work, waking up your kids hurrying them up to get them to a daycare you really can’t afford, rushing through morning traffic, dreading the moment where you park on a lot and be shuttled to your cubicle where you login in and get ready for a rah-rah session created to build your confidence and get you hype to sell people a service that you don’t understand or really even care about.
Now imagine getting pumped up and picking up the phone to make your first sales call and extreme anxiety sets in. Not your typical anxiety either. I’m talking about sweaty palms, nervous jitters, heart pumps, dizzy feelings, and shortness of breath.
It feels kind of like what I would imagine a heart attack feels like, now imagine all the stares of your coworkers staring at you as if you had 3 eyeballs and them asking if you're ok….
